BlackBerry has announced its second Android smartphone today, the Blackberry DTEK 50. The blackberry DTEK 50 is a midrange device, the first all-touchscreen smartphone blackberry device. Blackberry claims that the DTEK 50 is the "world's most secure smartphone."
The device is available for preorder directly from Blackberry at $299.99 and will be available on August 8th.

BlackBerry says it has modified the Android OS with its own technology which originally developed for BB10 devices to make it more secure. The company promises to deliver security patches regularly.
Earlier this year, BlackBerry said that it will be releasing

smartphones and it appears that the DTEK 50 is the first. Though the
DTEK 50 doesn't have a physical keyboard like other blackberry devices,
the company recently stated that it is not abandoning its traditional keyboards
and there will be future devices with physical keyboards.
